About Us

What is Medical Opportunities in Ohio?

Medical Opportunities in Ohio, more commonly known as MOO, is Ohio’s only state specific website that connects physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and CRNAs with healthcare employers and communities. 

MOO was developed as a nonprofit service in 2000 in partnership with the Ohio Hospital Association, Ohio State Medical Association  and the Ohio Osteopathic Association.   MOO is managed by the Michigan Health Council.

 

How does MOO work with Healthcare Employers?

MOO is not a recruitment/retention firm.  MOO provides healthcare employers (health systems, individual hospitals, group practices, etc…) the opportunity to become a MOO member and gain the ability to post unlimited opportunities and search the database of candidates that have expressed an interest in Ohio.  To learn how to become a MOO member, please contact us at 1-800-479-1666 or recruitment@mhc.org.

 

How does MOO work with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and CRNAs?

MOO provides physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and CRNA candidates the FREE ability to register on the site, submit their CV and search opportunities with MOO members.  Candidates can make their information viewable to MOO members or be on the site confidentially.  MOO does not sell or disclose candidates’ entrusted information.  If you would like to register on MOO to view opportunities, click on Find A Job. 

 

How is MOO funded?

MOO is supported by the membership fees paid by the healthcare employers utilizing the site.  There is never a charge to the candidate.
