What is Medical Opportunities in Ohio?
Medical Opportunities in Ohio, more commonly known as MOO, is Ohio’s only state specific website that connects physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners with healthcare employers and communities.
MOO was developed as a nonprofit service in 2000 in partnership with the Ohio Hospital Association, Ohio State Medical Association and the Ohio Osteopathic Association. MOO is managed by the Michigan Health Council.
How does MOO work with Healthcare Employers?
MOO is not a recruitment/retention firm. MOO provides healthcare employers (health systems, individual hospitals, group practices, etc…) the opportunity to become a MOO member and gain the ability to post unlimited opportunities and search the database of candidates that have expressed an interest in Ohio. How does MOO work with Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners?
MOO provides physician, physician assistant and nurse practitioner candidates the FREE ability to register on the site, submit their CV and search opportunities with MOO members. Candidates can make their information viewable to MOO members or be on the site confidentially. MOO does not sell or disclose candidates’ entrusted information. How is MOO funded?
MOO is supported by the membership fees paid by the healthcare employers utilizing the site. There is never a charge to the candidate.
